GUMLA: Security forces on Thursday gunned down dreaded zonal commander of CPI (Maoist), Budeshwar Oraon (46), during an encounter in a forest near Kochagani village under Kurumgarh police station, police said.
The security forces also seized an AK 47 rifle and bullets from the spot. Oraon was a member of the Bihar-Jharkhand Regional Committee of CPI (Maoist) and carried a cash reward of Rs 15 lakh. He was a resident of Pakartoli village under the sadar police station.
