“The intervenor is the devastated mother of the victim and an directly affected and interested party and her appearance is germane to the just decision of the case. It is therefore submitted that this honourable court may be pleased to pass an order allowing the intervenor to be made a party in the bail application and thus be allowed to plead her case and assist the prosecution to secure the ends of justice,” the plea said.
Padalkar has submitted the bail plea on February 2.
Her plea said that there is not even a single evidence which can even minutely prove her involvement or participation in the alleged offence.
