Two people were arrested for stealing more than $40,000 worth of retail merchandise after a wild foot chase through a New Hampshire mall that wound up with one of the suspects being Tasered by police. The usual safety and calm inside the lobby of the police department in Salem, Massachusetts, exploded into a full-blown melee Monday afternoon. Authorities say James Burge burst into the building wielding a sledgehammer and making threatening remarks, all because police refused to give him information about a woman he knew.
