The budget airline dropped a new Holiday Here sale overnight, and the best bit is some fares will cost you little more than a McDonald s Family box. The airline has dropped around 300,000 fares across the country, with seats starting from just $35 one-way on some routes.

A new direct route into the Whitsundays has been announced with Jetstar set to offer direct Melbourne to Hamilton Island flights from the end of March.
There will be four direct flights each week, serviced by an A320 aircraft, which will add about 1500 seats between the two destinations weekly.
The flights will take off on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from March 29, with flights both to and from Hamilton Island available on those days.
A flash sale started at noon Monday with fares from just $99 one way up for grabs to celebrate the new route.

Jetstar is investigating after a woman claimed a box of cherries taken by the airline s Queenstown Airport check-in staff before a flight back to Auckland were subsequently eaten.
The woman, who does not want to be named, said she her sister and two nieces were about to board a flight on December 11 when staff said their carry-on luggage including the cherries was overweight. They took them off us and said they would dispose of them the next day.
