Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Joe Douglas will personally be attending NDSU’s Pro Day today, and one big name is on that list. That is Trey Lance, the star quarterback. Lance is admittedly more of a ‘raw’ prospect, but he could have the most potential out of any quarterback in the 2021 NFL Draft. While I personally don’t expect the Jets to go after Lance, Joe Douglas is doing what he does best - due diligence. It’s a common theme under the regime of Joe Douglas, as he doesn’t seem to leave any stone unturned. It’s shown to disgruntle some players, but as a General Manager it’s what you want out of the position. Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Per NBC’s Peter King, there’s a strong chance that the 17-game schedule starts with this upcoming year. Adding an extra game to the schedule brings some interesting questions for the season. Will the league incorporate more holiday and Saturday games? Will teams who made the playoffs comfortably start resting players for multiple weeks? Will the IR be updated and will the pre-season be changed? There’s quite a few things an extra game to the regular season could mean going forward. It’s definitely interesting to see the final details regarding the scheduling for the entirety of the season after incorporating this extra game. To me I don’t believe players should go through another game - and think this really only has to do with money. But with that

The Detroit Lions swapped Matthew Stafford for the Los Angeles Rams Jared Goff, a pair of future first-round picks and a third-rounder this year, and the Philadelphia Eagles traded Carson Wentz to the Indianapolis Colts for a third-round pick this year and a conditional 2022 second-round pick that could turn into a first-rounder.
