Another suspected illegal drugs dealer has been arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in a buy-bust operation in Naga City.
In a statement, the NBI identified the arrested person as Ivy H. Aguilar from whom 27 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu, as well as pieces of paraphernalia were confiscated.
Last July 8, the NBI also announced the arrest of Jesty Estefanio in Iligan City. During a buy-bust operation, the NBI seized “one large size heat-sealed plastic sachet containing shabu weighing seven (7) grams with an estimated value of Php 47,600.”

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has arrested in Iligan City a suspected illegal drugs trader from whom seven grams of shabu was confiscated in a buy-bust operation.
NBI Officer-in-Charge Director Eric B. Distor identified the suspect as Jesty Estefanio, 31, who was arrested last July 3 by agents of the NBI’s Iligan District Office (NBI-ILDO).
“The operatives were able to buy from the subject one (1) piece Large Size Heat-sealed plastic sachet containing shabu weighing seven (7) grams with an estimated value of Php 47,600,” the NBI said in a statement.
“The confiscated illegal drug was forwarded to NBI-Regional Office 10, Forensic Chemistry Division for quantitative and qualitative examination,” it said.
