Ferentz confirmed that LEO LB Jestin Jacobs is out for the season. This is certainly a blow to what looks to be the best linebacking group we will face all year. According to Alex Drain, Jacobs played over 500 snaps this year. This is the position that comes off the field when they go Nickel but Jacobs was still a solid player. Ferentz also confirmed that WR Keagan Johnson will not play this week. This was a player that Alex had marked for a potential breakout season.
