The plan does not include specific recommendations about the future of each of BPS's 119 school buildings. It serves instead as a procedural outline for how the district will inform families, craft solutions and enact them.
The district said the 80-page plan is a framework that will support the district’s vision for facilities work going forward, including new buildings, major renovations, school reconfigurations, expansions, mergers and closures
