And with veterans coming back, kate loewen looks more at what san jose state has to offer. You may have seen flyers around campus about a petition for a central Meeting Place in the new Student Union for veterans. I learned more about their resources in comparision to other csus. For san jose state student military veterans like jon paul, adjusting to civilian life is proving to be difficult. Seeing combat, seeing the things that ive seen, and having my friends hurt the way they were totally changed my life outlook. and i m victor guzman. thanks for joining us. university police are still looking for the two men who they say committed an armed robbery on campus. jessica melcher is live on campus with the report. jessica? thanks. there has been some concern on campus since the robbery occurred early sunday morning right in the campus village quad. the robbery occurred at around four a-m when two male suspects pointed a gun at the victims and demanded their cell phones, wallets and cash. they then fled northbound. an s-j-s-u alert informed students of the incident and since then, some students have felt less safe living on campus. it s not surprising. we always get robberies or someone getting pointed at a gun [sic someone s always in danger on this campus, and it makes me feel uncomfortable due to the fact that there s a police station right there. there have been nine robbery cases over the past year: four completed and five attempts. university police ensure that they do all that th
