أعلنت السلطات في إقليم كردستان العراق أن مطار أربيل الدولي تعرض لهجوم بطائرة مسيرة مفخخة، أسفر عن اندلاع حرائق بعيدا عن منشآته، ولم يخلف أي إصابات.
من جهتها، قالت وزارة الدفاع الأميركية (البنتاغون) إنها اطلعت على الأنباء التي أفادت بوقوع هجوم بطائرة مسيرة في أربيل بالعراق، لكن المعلومات الأولية لا تشير إلى حدوث أضرار مادية أو إصابات أو خسائر في الأرواح.
