Cancellation-hit Royal Welsh Show site to host campers >More in Llanelwedd, Wales © Adobe Stock/Jessica Dale The site which hosts the Royal Welsh Show is being transformed into a campsite this summer after the coronavirus pandemic forced the cancellation of the 2021 event. The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society (RWAS) is opening the showground, in Llanelwedd, to caravanners and campers from 28 May. The concept was trialled last year when part of the showground was opened as a temporary caravan site for three weeks in August. The RWAS is marketing the site as one that is “within easy access to many footpaths and bridleways with breathtaking scenic views”.

Those nearly 400 Klamath County School District staff included – teachers, cooks, bus drivers, secretaries, and others, while the vaccine that they received was their first dose of Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccinations happened at a clinic at the Klamath County Fairgrounds. Some areas in Klamath County have already returned back to almost a full schedule on in-person classes, while school districts in more populated areas have returned to a hybrid model.
