Peacock streaming issues mar WWE Money in the Bank (Updated)

The WWE Network’s move to Peacock in the United States has not been without its issues, and many fans have lamented it as a downgrade from WWE’s standalone streamer.
But after the Raw Women’s title match at Money in the Bank tonight (Sun., July 18), the service failed at its primary task - reliably streaming a major WWE event.
The issues started during a commercial break - something that happened a few times for me on Roku prior to the issues that everyone started experiencing at approximately 9:50 pm ET. The video and audio intermittently dropped out or froze, causing fans to miss a backstage vignette prior to the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, and the entrances for said match.
UPDATE: A new report has some details on the glitches that Peacock suffered during the WWE Money in the Bank stream. According to PWInsider, WWE didn’t pause the show during the issues because they didn’t know about said problems. The issues were with the Peacock stream and not located in Fort Worth, where the show is taking place.
The WWE Network stream had no issues and since the feed has been fixed, it has been the WWE Network stream as there are none of the Peacock graphics.
ORIGINAL: Tonight’s episode of WWE Money in the Bank didn’t exactly go off without a hitch, as the show suffered glitches leading into the men’s Money In the Bank Ladder Match. The livestream began buffering shortly into the segment before featuring Riddle and Shinsuke Nakamura, and continued throughout the entrances for the men’s match.
More On The Major Streaming Issues On Peacock During Money In The Bank );
UPDATE: As many of you know by now, there were several glitches on the Peacock streaming service during Sunday night’s WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view event. According to a report from Pwinsider, WWE refused to pause the show as they didn’t know about the issues as they were happening. The issues were with the Peacock stream itself and not on the WWE Network. That’s why the company kept promoting the Peacock streaming service on Twitter during the show.
The WWE Network stream for those overseas had no issues.

Wrestling fans were treated to some unfamiliar programming over this past weekend at WrestleMania Backlash. As part of a cross-promotional match with WWE and Zack Snyder’s
Army of The Dead, Damian Priest and The Miz’s bout became a zombie Lumberjack Match.
The match was met with a swarm of zombies, leaving fans confused and not sure how to react. While a decent amount of fans shook their heads at the shameless plug, the response was generally positive as the entertaining spectacle left a lot of people chuckling and shocked that the WWE was able to pull this off. Check out the Twitter reactions below. Something tells us Dave Bautista had a hand in this.
