Salmo RCMP said in a media release that on Saturday, July 24, 2021, officers along with members of the Salmo Fire Department responded to as many as four brush fires alongside one another north west of the Highway 3/6 intersection. Police believe that all four fires were human caused and have reason to believe that they may have been deliberately set.
