The driver of a red vehicle hit the pedestrian on route 1. The victim here suffered serious injuries and was taken to Melrose Wakefield hospital. All lanes are back open this morning
Police tell us to the tune of at least 100,000. They are looking to see if these robberies are connected. Here is what happened earlier today. Just after 9 00 this morning. Police tell us the two men walked into this coin shop here just off of main street. They said they wanted to buy some coins. Maybe sell some jewelry. Things escalated from there. During the transaction, apparently, one of the suspects pulled out a taser and tased one of the employees. A second employee came over to assist. He was tased as well. During the incident, both employees were ziptied. F reporter now, one employee was rushed to the hospital. No word on how he is doing.
