A possible breakthrough in the search for a serial killer in alexandria. Police in alexandria confirmed they are looking into the background of the man just arrested in wheeling, West Virginia. He was wanted in connection with charges. The mans name is Charles Severance and he was arrested at the Ohio County Library located in wheeling, West Virginia. Photo taken upon his arrest for it he was picked up i West Virginia state police and is now in the custody of the fbi. He was wanted on weapons charges in loudoun county, virginia. Alexandria police are stopping short of calling him a person of interest but they are looking into the similarities in appearance to the composite sketch of the alleged killer in the february homicide of ruth and lodfato. Alexandria per lease are looking into whether he is the same person connected to the november killing of ron kirby and the 2003 murder of nancy dunning.
