Hoarding can be a problem for people of all ages, an expert on the subject told viewers Thursday afternoon in the second instalment of a Cornwall-based series.
Hoarding is often associated with seniors, but it can affect “children who may be abandoned in hoarded homes, (and) adults, perhaps in their 50s, who are experiencing some form of hoarding,” said Christiana Bratiotis, with the University of British Columbia’s School of Social Work Centre for Collaborative Research on Hoarding, who was joining the livestream from Vancouver.
