Hudson Reporter We must support Superintendent Franklin Walker Dear Editors: As a proud product of the Jersey City Public Schools and a lifelong resident of seventy three plus years in our City of Jersey City I have been carefully following the matters at the Board meetings and the attempts to mince weaken the authority of the school board. I will place forth from my recollection a series of events in regards to the relationships between the school board and other entities. I further want to again express my support and the support of the community for our esteemed Superintendent Franklin Walker.

Developers Will Soon Create Bold $3B Mixed-Use Project in Jersey City : CEG

Wed April 14, 2021 - Northeast Edition CEG Proposed redevelopment along Jersey City waterfront near Liberty State Park: The Cove. (Ennead Architects rendering) A joint venture between Argent Ventures and the Canadian-based H&H Real Estate Investments Trust is in the preliminary stages of transforming 18 acres on the Hudson River waterfront of Jersey City, N.J., into The Cove, a $3 billion mixed-use campus. Favorable zoning allows for multiple uses at the new development, including residential, office, retail, hotel, laboratory and research facilities. As a result, The Cove will offer 1.4 million sq. ft. of lab and office space for life science and other tech users at rental rates lower than those found across the river in Manhattan.

Fulop nominates Rahat Chatha and Paul Scalia to serve as Jersey City municipal judges

Hudson County View Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop has nominated Rahat Chatha and Paul Scalia to serve as municipal judges to replace Judges Carlo Abad and Margaret Marley in light of them being confirmed to the Hudson County Superior Court.
