The Sanderson fire was first reported at 1 a.m. near La Borde Canyon Road and Jack Rabbit Trail, and later spurred an evacuation warning for the homes north of Gilman Springs and South of Timothy Lane. As of 12:45 p.m., that warning had been lifted. All evacuation orders were also lifted. At last word, the fire had scorched 1,933 acres and was 10 percent contained. No injuries have been reported.
