Editor, Register-Mail: When will it finally dawn on Republicans that coming up with an actual PLAN to move America forward might be a good idea? So far, all they have done is to be against all of the great things that Biden, Pelosi, Schumer and the Democrats have done so far. Elizabeth McDonough, Senate parliamentarian since 2012, has given Chuck Schumer the OK to use reconciliation TWICE more after the Infrastructure bill passes.
And now Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is telling corporations to “stay out of politics” (except if they’re committing bribery). The list of big businesses telling statehouse Republicans to stop voter discrimination is growing. I know there are multiple lawsuits being filed against these anti-democracy bills, though I have yet to see any action by the courts.

LETTER: Trump voters not mindless fools

Editor, Register-Mail: I never thought that it was appropriate to mention the names of other opinion letter writers in my submissions, but, in this case, I will make an exception. I don t always read what the hateful political theater whiners write in order to downgrade our president. Fred Stevens, Trish Voss, Jerry Ryberg, and others like them, want us to see through the fake news prism a prism that distorts the news to fit their Trump hating leftist agenda. People like them, and several regular columnists, have divided America into opposing camps. I would surmise that they supported all efforts to oust Trump from the White House including the phony impeachment efforts the Dems propagated. They now vehemently deny any possibility of massive voter fraud in the election even though there were many sworn affidavits to that effect. Liberals repeat, as do the mainstream media, nearly verbatim, fake news screeches. T
