It is all rain with temperatures in the upper 40s to low 60s across the kwwl viewing area this morning. Northeasterly winds are calm to around 15 mph but will e light for the next couple of days. You have a 50 50 shot of seeing some of these showers and storms today, with the best chance along the front. We dry out by tomorrow. Two Central Iowa Police officers are dead in what police are calling ambushstyle attacks. The two officers were shot just two miles apart. Polcie just held a News Conference about an hour ago they are still working to put together a description of the suspect. Police say an officer responded to a report of shots fired and found an urbandale officer had been shot. A des moines officer was found shot 20 minutes later. Police say both officers were shot while sitting in their patrol cars. Were very well aware of the society that we live in and the segment of our population holds.
