Janice A. Fiola Janice Ann Fiola passed away on May 15, 2021 after a prolonged illness. She was born February 6, 1947 in Worthington, Minnesota, the middle child of five children. Jan’s life was anything but “middle of the road”. A descendant of primarily German and Italian lineage, Jan appreciated the family’s ancestral traditions and quickly broadened her cultural curiosity to include the Latin culture. As a junior in Worthington High School, she travelled to Bogota, Columbia as part of a Girl Scout international program. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, a double major in Spanish and Sociology, from St. Catherine’s University in 1969.
