[ applause ] , really. so, very happy. reporter: this is eye eileen frere for abc news. disturbing story. in other news this morning, federal aviation officials are looking into the crash of a small plane near lake tahoe that came down in an aircraft parking area and then burst into flames just after leaving the ground. the pilot was the only person on board. he was brought to a hospital in reno, nevada, with serious injuries. luckily, though, he escaped the plane before it caught fire. the united states should be in the clear as that six-ton satellite races closer to earth. the old research satellite is expected to crash down some time tomorrow afternoon. nasa says it will not pass over north america. but it s too early to tell precisely when and where it will hit. the satellite is expected to break up with some two dozen pieces reaching earth. they could be scattered over a 500-mile area. the nationwide listeria outbreak linked
