The $4.3 million for Long Island library contruction projects is "barely chipping away at the need that's out there," said Caroline Ashby, director of the Nassau Library System.
“At the dawn of a new holiday season, it is so wonderful to witness the tremendous generosity of Nassau County residents on display,” Legislator Drucker said.
“When a person donates a winter jacket, they are not just giving the gift of warmth - they are wrapping its recipient in a spirit of compassion and hope for the future,” Legislator Drucker said.
