Share Updated: 6:50 AM EDT Apr 29, 2021 WLWT Digital Staff WLWT Digital Staff The Marysville Police Department is welcoming a new member to its family, therapy K9 Mercy.Mercy came to the department as part of a program started by Kim and Jeremy Segner. They started the therapy dog program in 2019 after seeing one in an adjacent county. The idea was for them to donate a Golden Labrador Retriever pup to the department to be raised and used as a therapy dog.The COVID-19 pandemic put the program on hold, but last week, Mercy and her partner, Officer Findley, came together on a permanent basis. Officer Findley will make sure Mercy gets off to a great start. The formal training will start when Mercy is 1-year-old. She will then be able to visit school
