Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) has reported plans to expand its Boston Tech Hub and create over 3,000 new technology and corporate jobs within the next several years. New roles will support teams across the company which include Amazon Web Services, Alexa, Amazon Robotics and Amazon Pharmacy. The company has invested over USD 6.2 Billion in Massachusetts and created over 20,000 jobs in the last decade. “We’re proud to be creating more than 3,000 new jobs over the next several years at our Boston Tech Hub,” said Rohit Prasad, Vice President & Head Scientist for Alexa at Amazon. “Much of the technology that makes Alexa smarter every day is invented in Boston.
