A TREE wedged against Hereford s Old Wye Bridge needs to be dealt with quickly by the Environment Agency, a county councillor has said. The large tree recently became stuck against the 15th-century bridge, but the current debris is not as bad as that seen in October 2019 when one arch was completely blocked. Hereford Central ward councillor Jeremy Milln said he hoped the Environment Agency would deal with the issue at the Grade I-listed bridge, as it would be awfully tragic if anything happened to it.
