A mental health nursing degree programme is to be offered entirely on Jersey for the first time, it has been announced.
The three-year full-time programme will be provided by a local team of nursing tutors, meaning students will not have to leave the island to study. This will help to strengthen the island’s mental health workforce with home-grown talent without the need for students to go off-island to study”

The Government of Jersey and the University of Chester have been working in collaboration to deliver adult nursing programmes for islanders since 2013.
