After a state prisoner convicted of murder spent more than a year out of custody, the Nevada Department of Corrections is changing its inmate tracking protocol.
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) A judge released a convicted murderer after a “miscommunication” led police to arrest him following his release from federal custody more than a year ago.
The Nevada Department of Corrections, which requested an arrest warrant for a prisoner more than a year after he was released, later asked a Las Vegas judge to quash the warrant.
