automatic to halt sales nationwide. good eench, i am marianne banister. baltimore county teachers no longer have to use the controversial student evaluation tool known as aim. that is the decision by the school board. 11 reporter david collins joins us with the latest. in addition to everything else associated with their job, teachers would have had to fill out this much paperwork per course. aim is software designed to help teachers chart students progress. the baltimore county school board decided against making it mandatory to use it. they are waiting for a committee to review the program. there are a series of technical issues, measurement issues that really should be addressed in much more detail before we know exactly how accurate the progress reporting system is. teachers complain that the paperwork is enormous. instructors and parents consider it overwhelming. many have packed school board meetings to make that known. a teacher has to fill out an eight-page
