Three men died in the incident near the Boise airport. At the time of the incident, fire crews were already nearby the collapse zone conducting training exercises.
One of the men killed in the Boise Airport hangar collapse was the brother of the owner of Big D Builders, the construction company building the hangar.
The victims of this week’s hangar collapse have been publicly identified, and first responders offered more details about the chaotic scene that unfolded Wednesday evening.
“If you have a structural collapse, it takes a lot of evidence and deep diving to put the whole puzzle together,” said David Kearns, director of OSHA’s Boise Area Office.
