The Equality Court has granted AfriForum an opportunity to approach the Supreme Court of Appeal to challenge its previous judgment on the controversial “Kill the Boer” song which it found did not constitute hate speech or incite violence.
Judgment has been reserved in the leave-to-appeal application by AfriForum against the “Kill the Boer” ruling in favour of the EFF by the equality court a month ago.
Finding gas or oil along SA’s coastline could solve its energy crisis and it was government’s job, not the judiciary’s, to strike the delicate balance between preserving the environment and promoting justifiable economic and social development.
