OCONTO – Less than six days after he was granted probation for possession of methamphetamine, an Oconto man was back in custody after being found with the illicit drug.
Jeremiah T. Irving, 24, was arrested Feb. 18 by the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office, who were called about 3:30 a.m. to a car parked at Kwik Trip off U.S. 141 in in the town of Stiles to check on a man who had been parked there for at least 4½ hours.
After several attempts to wake the man, he eventually stirred and acknowledge he had smoked methamphetamine around suppertime.
Inside the vehicle deputies found two gem bags, which were found to contain less than a gram of methamphetamine.
