The people of riverine community Igbomotoru in South Ijaw council area of Bayelsa state have insisted they will no longer recognise the deposed Aseimieghe Ayibaikie Ofongo as the paramount ruler of the community. The decision was unanimously approved at a well-attended general meeting held on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 in Igbomotoru to resolve the lingering crisis in the community.
