CLEVELAND, Ohio The Browns added eight new players to their roster over the weekend. It will be a while before we see any of them on the field with the team’s roster of veterans, but each pick is still an opportunity to learn something about the Browns’ approach to team building and the draft.
Here is one lesson from each pick Andrew Berry and Co. made over the weekend.

Happy Draft Day!! If you’ll remember to last year, several of the writers got together for the first annual FTRS Mock Draft, and well, this year, we decided to do it again! So without further ado, let’s get onto the rule and team assignments.
Rules
If there is a trade between two teams that are being run by the same person, it must be approved by a simple majority of the whole group.
Due to not being able to get everyone together at the exact same time, we are requiring that folks wait at least five minutes before making their selection to give people ample time to discuss trades and such.
In Part I, which saw the Patriots trade back in the first round to 19th overall via Washington, New England grabbed the following players with their first five picks: 16th overall: CB Jaycee Horn (SC); 46th overall: WR Elijah Moore (Ole Miss); 51st overall: QB Kellen Mond (A&M); 96th overall: LB Jamin Davis (KT); 122nd overall: T Brady Christensen (BYU).
In Part II, which saw the Pats stay at 15th overall, New England ended up with these first five selections: 16th overall: CB Jaycee Horn (SC); 46th overall: QB Kellen Mond (A&M); 96th overall: LB Jamin Davis (KT); 120th overall: DT Osa Odighizuwa (UCLA); 122nd overall: T Brady Christensen (BYU).
