The Humbugs VW Club recently donated food and clothing to the Eureka Rescue Mission. The food and clothing was collected during the club’s annual Christmas party. Representing Humbugs were Robert Sherman and Jere Cox. Accepting the donation was Bryan Hall Sr., the mission’s executive director, and a volunteer. Donations come from proceeds from the club’s annual “Coolin’ It In The Redwoods” VW show at Pierson Park in McKinleyville. This year, the club made $500 donations to the auto shop programs at Fortuna, Eureka, Arcata and McKinleyville high schools.
