Foo Fighters are offering fans some new merchandise while helping a small Southern California business which has been struggling during the pandemic at the same time. The band has teamed with Vans’ “Foot the Bill” program, offering a Foo Fighters-branded shoe and T-shirt for sale that will assist the Jensen Guitar & Music Company in Santa Barbara.
Foo Fighters guitarist
Chris Shiflett chose the business. He said, “Jensen Guitar & Music Co. has always held a special place in my heart. Not only is it the shop me and my brothers learned how to play guitar in, but my brother Mike teaches there now. I have so many great memories of being in Jensen’s as a little kid . . . I’m so excited that Foo Fighters and Vans are lending a hand to help them get through a rough year.”

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - For the last 48 years Chris Jensen can be found behind the counter of his music store, working on a guitar to make it sound and look it s best. It s everything around him that s changed, especially in the last year. Obviously the pandemic has cut into our income, Jensen said. We re running about half speed.
The lesson rooms are filled with boxes, not students. The stage room is quiet, but there are many musicians who are making some noise to help save the place where they got their start from going out of business.
