Demon cat Chester finds new home after being returned to the RSPCA South Australia four times

A demonic cat who was returned to the RSPCA four times over his bad behaviour has found a new owner in time for Christmas.  Eight-year-old tabby Chester lasted just three months with his previous owner before he was returned to RSPCA South Australia s shelter in Lonsdale, south of Adelaide, in mid-November.  A cat-lover named Wilma, who wished to withhold her surname, finally adopted Chester on Wednesday, just two sleeps before Christmas.   Eight-year-old tabby Chester (centre), his new owner Wilma (left) and RSPCA South Australia cat carer Jenny Sherring (right). Demonic cat called Chester looking for his fifth home after being returned to RSPCA four times

A cat described as a demonic and anti-social Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde by his last owner is still looking for his forever home after he was returned to the RSPCA for the fourth time in seven years. Eight-year-old tabby Chester is back in familiar surroundings at the animal shelter in Adelaide after another unsuccessful adoption due to his bad boy attitude. RSPCA carers remain hopeful of matching the affectionate but often fiery Chester with his perfect owner, claiming the boomerang cat is simply misunderstood. We re not going to beat around the bush with this one, Chester has some serious cattitude, RSPCA South Australia posted on Facebook.

Yes! Even demonic cats like Chester deserve Christmas joy

A demonic and anti-social cat, returned by four different owners to the RSPCA s Lonsdale Shelter, is merely misunderstood and deserves a forever home, carers say. In a bid to find Chester a new family by Christmas, cat keeper Jenny Sherring has revealed the cat s redeeming features. The eight-year-old male tabby cat has been returned to the Lonsdale Shelter four times in the past seven years, in most cases due to his unappealing behaviour. But Ms Sherring said Chester was talkative and likes interacting with humans. Chester the cat is looking for a home, for the fifth time. Picture: RSPCA SA
