A NEWLY-formed hobby club in Llandrindod Wells will be hoping it’s plain sailing from here on in, as they are now allowed to meet up again with coronavirus restrictions easing. The Lakeside Model Boat Club was set up in 2020 but, due to Covid-19, members were unable to properly launch. But, now that Wales is leaving choppy waters behind as restrictions are easing, it is hoped that there are nothing but calm seas ahead, and club chiefs are hoping for a wave of new members. “Welcome to the newly-formed Llandrindod Wells and surrounding areas Lakeside Model Boat Club,” said club vice chairman Kev Parsons on the group’s Facebook page.
