0 nancy pelosi thinks the tax rates should go up on everybody. does the president have the political will to go against his own party? what we are seeing so far, he is not. we read his first offer, when he sat down with mr. boehner, mr. boehner said here s $800 billion for revenue and what do i get for that? the president allegedly said, that s for free. that s not evidence 6 somebody who wants a deal who, wants to lead. eric: what would you like to see? i would like to see a clean deal. i would like to see something that fixes the problem. keep in mind, one of the things that frustrates me is that the fiscal cliff is getting all of this attention, when it s real. i don t want to diminish it. but it s a drop in the bucket. the tax increases that the president wants that represent 8 cents of every dollar of debt. we are not dealing with the overall problem. that s what i would like to see. something that brings as much attention to the $16 trillion debt, as it does to the relatively
