Police say thieves from the bay area are traveling south targeting some of the top tourist here because they are, this is more likely to have better merchandise, better tourism. Reporter police say their rodeo drive area seems to be a favorite spot for the bay area burglars. Pricy purses and designer clothes are a big draw. Get anything that they can from personal property to recently purchased items that are still in the vehicles and then they return almost immediately back to the bay area. But in the last couple of months, this has become the last resort for some Homeless People who need to find a place to pitch their tents. I have a lot of sympathy for them. Reporter it is the eternal struggle for general manager jalil hamidi when he shows up for work at this car dealership off willow pass road in concord. Does he lend a helping hand to the homeless . Every night before i lock up, if i see them, i give them coffee, hot water. Reporter or does he push them away .
