ROCHESTER/ROCHESTER HILLS/OAKLAND TOWNSHIP Through the magic of books, the Rochester-based Authors in April program has been connecting children with famous authors and illustrators for over 38 years even if this year it’s taking place in May.

Every day I read or hear things that interest me and most of it is not related to anything I can use to write a story, but I feel compelled to write it down. After I accumulate this serendipity of notes, I can t stop myself from sharing them with you.
Serendipity is the development of events by chance in a happy and beneficial way, so I hope these strike a happy or beneficial note for you.
