Syracuse, N.Y. City Hall is trying to make it a little easier for bars, restaurants and music venues to get back on their feet after a year that devastated the entertainment and dining industries.
A proposal before the Common Council would waive the licensing fees required for hosting live entertainment in Syracuse this year. That fee applies to any place with a performance stage, including restaurants with stages for concerts.
