The Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin is holding on tight to her Trump Derangement Syndrome as long as she can; she’s been riding that wave so long we’re not sure what the “conservative” columnist is going to write about for the next four years, except to show her support for the Democrats. (By the way, she finally changed her Twitter bio from “conservative” to “NeverTrump, pro-democracy opinion writer.”
Rubin didn’t write this piece, but she’s extracted a quote from Dan Balz’s piece on what Trump supporters believe and clarified that it’s the definition of white supremacy.
Although no one sensible would predict otherwise from the fraudulent group, its leaders stayed the course even after Barrett’s nomination was announced, although her conservative credentials are and were not in doubt. The selection raised hysteria on the left, amplified by Democrats in the Senate and regurgitated by their NeverTrump allies blasting the nomination as an assault on American institutions.

As my RedState colleague Brad Slager reported earlier, Never Trumpers are now more politically homeless than they ever were. One reason is because, believe it or not, there actually is only so much grifting you can do in Washington, D.C. before the well runs dry and people move on.
Not only did they spend tens of millions in mostly losing efforts in House and Senate races across the country last month, but – barring some sort of miracle when Congress convenes on Jan. 6th to certify the presidential election – they stand to lose their number one money generator: President Trump.
