One week after the deadly violence in charlottesville, it was a tense day of demonstrations in boston. 40,000 people in the streets. Rightwing activists rally for free speech. Counterprotesters marched against hate. Police tried to keep the peace by separating the crowds, but several skirmishes broke out. The dueling demonstrations took place in and around Boston Common, the nations oldest park, dating back to 1634. Demarco morgan is there.
