Ross County service provider opens new office on Water Street
CHILLICOTHE- A multi-county service provider that works with adults and children with disabilities both mental and physical has opened up a new office in Chillicothe.
Southern Ohio Adventures and Recreation (SOAR) started in Vinton County around 2012, said Tami Bay, CEO of SOAR, and has since expanded to Athens, Washington, Meigs, Galia, Jackson, and Ross counties.
To qualify for services, clients must be registered for services through the Ross County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
The organization has serviced Ross County for the past three years, but a new office at 203 W Water Street has been open for less than a week, said Jennifer Matheny, SOAR County Manager.
