CUMBERLAND – Abutters to the perpetual blast zone at Broad Street and Mendon Road say they’ve lived through two years of misery, a predictable outcome when the developer of the
FORT WAYNE â Purdue University Fort Wayne has chosen its sixth class of Top 50 and Exemplar students. These individuals not only excel academically, but go above and beyond in their communities.
Since 2016, Purdue University Wayne has taken great pride in recognizing its best and brightest students for accomplishments on and off campus. Called simply the Top 50, these students not only have high GPAs, they also excel in university activities, events and organizations â and through community engagement both here in Fort Wayne and in their hometowns.
Students must meet specific qualifications and apply to be considered in the selection process. The final recipients are selected by the Top 50 Committee.
Harper’s, The Paris Review, The American Poetry Review, The New Republic, Poetry, and
The Best American Poetry. He has been a Bread Loaf Fellow, a Lannan Foundation Marfa Residency Fellow, and writer-in-residence at George Washington University and the Richard Hugo House. He is a coordinator of the Idyllwild Arts Summer Writers Week and co-hosts, with novelist J. Robert Lennon, the podcast Lunch Box, with Ed and John. He has been a visiting writer at the University of Montana, and lives in Portland.
