GREENSBORO, N.C. For weeks, a Greensboro community kept Ralph Havis in their prayers. He s the man who owned Beef Burger on Gate City Blvd.
The restaurant closed in May after he got sick. He passed away, last month.
Generations of customers loved Havis. Now, one is going so far as to bring back his beloved restaurant.
A man named Lawrence Chandler in Greensboro tells News 2 he grew up knowing Ralph Havis. Together the two bonded and Chandler became his Godson. Now, he s hoping to continue Havis s legacy.
