Kicking off the week on the cold side, 31 degrees at the the the airport. Coldest morning this season so far in philadelphia a. The suburbs are down to the 20s. Were not dealing with the strong wind like yesterday. It is colder but, we dont have nasty wind chills. Thirtyone at the airport. Twentynine in wilmington. Upper 20s in the the lehigh valley, same deal pottstown, quakertown, doyletown and below freezing in mount holly. 10 miles an hour or less. Much better then yesterday morning when we had sustain wind up around 20 miles an hour. Wind chills are cold, but they are still feeling like teens in some spots. Twentythree in philadelphia it is more of a true feeling with the actual air temperatures, we dont to have battle that harsh wind throughout the the day. Nice and quiet on storm scan
Unglamorous time at eight or 9 00 oclock at night. It is sad. I happen to live right next to the ben franklin parkway. So at 10 30 when beyonce took the stage. I drifted off. And it is hilarious because in my dream i cans like all of the single ladies. Hand up. The sound of these people cheering, thousands of people, the weather was stunning, it was a great night, it was fun, i didnt get a lot of sleep. Free concert for you. It was almost exactly one year ago when Rocky Mountain PBS went hiking with Phil Hiester and his wife, Deborah outdoor gatherings and social distancing were the norm. A stagehand for more than three decades, his future at the job he loved was in jeopardy.
“In our industry there are no stagehands working in the country. Our industry has been shut down entirely. It s very unsettling because we don t know when we ll get back to it,” he said in July of 2020.

DENVER Local music and performing arts venues are starting to reopen slowly. With warm weather returning and some pandemic restrictions lifting, the sun is starting to shine on an industry hit hard during the past year.
Revenues down and jobs lost
Performances by the bands Three Dog Night & Firefall wrapped the 2019 concert season at Levitt Pavilion Denver. Heading into the off-season, the outlook industry-wide for the new year was impressive.
“Year over year there’s been a tremendous amount of growth in live music. 2020 was supposed to be this major breakthrough year. Almost everybody was on tour, venues were filled up, our projections were looking really, really strong. And, then COVID hit and it all fell apart,” said Chris Zacher, Executive Director for the Levitt Pavilion Denver.
