Milwaukee Riverkeeper s 26th annual Spring Cleanup is scheduled for Saturday.The pandemic is changing the event this year. All volunteers are asked to preregister, and registration is capped at 3,000 people.Start times are varied for volunteers.In previous years, 4,000 volunteers picked up nearly 100,000 pounds of trash. Even with the reduced number of volunteers, Milwaukee Riverkeeper is hopeful that this years volunteers will still be able to pick up just as much trash.
