Asmat Kaur Taunque, Cager
I stayed in Chandigarh for five years before moving to other states with my parents. My journey to take basketball as a hobby started from Chandigarh only.
Six-feet-tall Asmat, who spent her childhood in Chandigarh before playing for states such as Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, was accepted into Lawrenceville School in August 2019, and was also part of the first two NBA Academy India Women’s Camps (May 2018 and January 2019) at the NBA Academy India facilities.

Rick Welts had hit another deadline. He was in college and the feeling that he was gay wasn’t going away, just like it hadn’t by the other self-imposed deadlines: at age 12, 14, 16.
So he poured out his heart in a letter to a young minister at Magnolia Congregational Church in Seattle. Welts felt he could trust the minister with his secret. In page after page, he explained what he was feeling and asked for guidance.

The only thing Azzi Fudd can bring herself to look at is the falling snow. She can t look at her mother, Katie, who s sitting in the passenger seat, too distraught to drive. And she won t look at her knee, which no longer looks like her knee anyway.
Her grandmother, Karen, navigates their rented black SUV through the accumulating snow. It s April 13, 2019, and they re rushing from the USA Basketball 3-on-3 U18 nationals in Colorado Springs to Denver, some 75 miles away, for an emergency MRI to see whether Azzi s injury is as bad as they all fear.
